About Us

Gentle Path End-of-Life Support

Gentle Path End-of-Life Support was created to help individuals and families navigate the final stages of life with dignity, compassion, and peace.

We are a husband-and-wife certified End-of-Life Doula team offering non-medical, emotional, and practical support to those who are dying and to the people who love them. Our role is to walk alongside — to listen, to advocate, and to provide a steady presence during a deeply meaningful time.

We Believe a “Good Death” looks different for every person. Our focus is always on honoring the wishes of the patient, supporting open communication, and helping families feel less alone and less overwhelmed.

Gentle Path works alongside hospice, healthcare providers, and faith or community leaders, offering Continuity and additional support that complements the care already in place. We do not replace medical care — we help humanize it.

Our work may include:

  • Supporting advance care planning and patient advocacy

  • Providing bedside presence and vigil support

  • Offering respite for caregivers

  • Helping families navigate conversations, emotions, and transitions

  • Being present after death to support loved ones

Above all, Gentle Path exists to offer calm, steady support during a time that can feel uncertain and overwhelming — helping families move forward with clarity, comfort, and respect.

Gentle Path provides non-medical end-of-life doula services and works collaboratively with hospice and healthcare teams.

We’re Jane and Ray.
We work together to provide calm, non-medical end-of-life support for individuals and families navigating serious illness, caregiving, and the dying process.

Our role is not to direct or define the experience, but to offer steady presence, clear communication, and practical support — always guided by the values, wishes, and needs of those we serve.
